There was many contents development about the whale, and what I read this work and felt was felt according to the title. However, I came to be interested in nature and a whale while I felt that I read the manual of the whale. I who was totally ignorant felt strength and the terror of the whale, greatness about a whale. And the Captain ray hub letting a whaler sail is pictured as a person leading various races out of sense of hatred and the anger since it was picked off one leg by a white whale. I attached an artificial leg made with the bone of the sperm whale to the foot picked off. While holding various doubt whether there is hope whether it has the future to advance this ship; there as the captain took pride in it. I thought it to be may have a contrastive meaning when I continued reading this story. The white whale which picked off a foot expressed evil and thought that I led a person, and the ray hub captain with reader characteristics expressed good. The white expressed good if common, and the black had an image to express evil, but this work was different. I thought that it may have been the keyword which Melville incorporated in this work. In addition, the life had various events the sea which continued endlessly widely drawn in the background of the story was a symbol of the life itself, and to show an expression different every day and felt it when it was the thing which could regain an expression calm someday. I had a pure white body dyed in no color, and the very large sea was able to think that I finished reading all and reconsidered a work once again some other time whether the ray hub captain whom the white whale which lived had revenge and sense of the anger in a symbol of the good, and lived in days would not be a symbol of the evil. Each reader held different thought and thought that pursuit feeling for the work may have risen.
